Leaving Cayman

It's been a frenzied last few weeks in Cayman.

The time has been filled with coffee, lunch and dinner dates ... I swear I've gained 20lbs since the beginning of the month lol.  I've enjoyed parasailing, visited Little Cayman, had 3 highly successful 'Leaving Dos', spent time with my 'on-island' god-children, settled all my financial affairs and written my "Last Will and Testament" lol

With my Euro-Africanas xx

With the Jamies et famille!

Mish & I

Aye karamba ... some puppies came out to play!!!

I completed my Advanced Open Water Course:
Boat Dive and Deep Dive: Went down to 100ft. Saw some beautiful marine life including Eagle Rays, Turtles and Moray Eels. Also got to watch some Lionfish get speared, gutted and left for fish food...eeeek!!!
Underwater Navigation and Peak Performance Buoyancy: Buoyancy and nav skills still need work!
Night Dive: An underwater adventure during coral spawning season... beautiful starry night, spotted lots of flying fish as we anchored at the dive site. However, what should have been a spectacular dive was marred by a rookie mistake ... I forgot to de-fog my mask before jumping in!!!  So spent half of the time trying to find my way rather than being able to focus on all the beautiful fauna and flora around me. Tough tittie, really. Looking forward to my next night dive so I can do it right this time.

Got the t-shirt :)
I suffered a body rash as a result of the spa day at the Ritz (negative skin reaction to La Prairie products), logged a complaint with Ritz customer services and, to their credit, they did come back and offer me a $200 gift card compensation.

I've discovered Power Plate workouts, enjoyed a variety of body treatments (courtesy of Erica of Personal Lifestyle Training with Erica), and feel a bit trimmer for the efforts J

I've said all my good-byes and now I'm packed and ready to depart.

Lots of love Cayman, it’s been a pleasure knowing you and I hope to see you again soon xxx
